Maintenance

The goal of the Operations Department of the City of Herriman is to build and maintain hard street surfaces, including travel lanes, bike lanes, medians, curbs, gutters, and sidewalks; to provide adequate safe traffic controls and street lighting; remove debris and snow from travel surfaces.

Street Lights

With approximately 1800 streetlights to maintain, we appreciate your help in finding lights that are out or are malfunctioning. You can send an e-mail or call the City office. We ask for your name and phone number in case we have questions and need to follow up with you.

Sweeping

The City's operational goal is to sweep every road in the City twice a year. Heavily traveled arterial streets are normally swept more often, and special problem streets are maintained more often as needed.

Snow Removal

Herriman City has contracted with Salt Lake County to provide snow plowing services. Depending on the severity of the storm, the City has some smaller equipment that is used to assist in plowing some collector secondary streets.
